im a budding amateur photographer if there is such a thing, although im a better writer.

all the pictures i post here have a story to tell. i don't edit my shots using photoshop. i believe in the candidness of point and shoot (since thats the camera i use). if ever, the most i do is crop.

i do appreciate comments on the pictures or the stories and insights i have behind these shots.

Like you, I'm looking to improve my fotog skills...I'm interested in seeing what else you have going on. My day job (if I had one right now) is as a graphic designer, but I like photography more. It's not about schlepping widgets, but instead about capturing a moment or form. I, too, can be like the chicken. Only I don't want to be beaten with a stick. Maybe the chicken doesn't, either.

I like the directions you choose; you're willing to experiment, which is most of the battle. Also, you're attitude-free, not the "thees ees aa-aht" crap that's so easy to adopt.
